Brigid of the rising flame
Keeper of dawn’s first light,
I call you.
Goddess of inspiration, healing, and sacred fire.
Stand with me at the threshold of the East,
Where breath begins and vision awakens.
Shine your gentle fire upon my path,
And stir the seeds of my becoming.
Guide me, Bright One,
With the clarity of air and the spark of creation.
May your flame burn in my heart,
As I rise into the promise of a new day.
Close your eyes and imagine the first light of morning breaking over a dewy field. Mist lifts gently as golden rays stretch across the earth. You stand at the threshold of a new day. The air is crisp and filled with birdsong.
From the East, a figure approaches, cloaked in light - Brigid. Her eyes are bright with wisdom and warmth, her hands carry both a glowing ember and a bowl of clear water. She smiles and places the ember in your hands. A flame that does not burn but quickens.
As you hold it, feel your own inner spark rekindled. Fresh inspiration flows through you. She touches your brow, awakening vision. “Speak your truth. Begin again. All things are possible” she says.
Breathe in her life. Breathe in your own becoming. And when you’re ready, return, carrying her flame within.
